Longtime LAOSHC Board Member Dale Wirth Retires

On September 3, 2020, after nearly 32 years serving patients and businesses in the Coulee Region, long time LAOSHC board member Dale Wirth will retire from Gundersen Health System. Dale’s current roles at GHS include Clinical Occupational Therapist and Business Health Services Representative.

Dale joined LAOSHC in 2000, served as Vice President from January 2006 – December 2008, and President from January 2009 – December 2012. Dale remained on the Board from January 2013 to today. Dale says, “it has been incredibly rewarding being part of the LAOSHC over the years. I have made many lifelong friendships while trying to make the La Crosse community a safe place to work. Many thanks to all the people I have had the opportunity to work with over the past years. I have been truly Blessed to have had this role as part of my job.”

During his well-deserved retirement, Dale looks forward to preparing his house in La Crosse for sale and then a relocation to Weyauwega, WI where he plans to build a log home on his 7 woodland acres. Dale will spend his days hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time with family in Appleton, WI.

On behalf of LAOSHC, we wish Dale the happiest of days ahead. Thank you for your service.
